Looking back on this day we had woken early to catch the last Isle of Staffa tour out of Oban, Scotland, for the year. We were looking forward to seeing Fingal's Cave especially. Our Airbnb host had prepared us an awesome breakfast (cheeses, breads, meats, jams, sweets) and even driven us down to the pier to see us off. The people of Scotland were overwhelming friendly and never bothered by helping out. After the majority of the tour was over we stopped in Iona, another island, for lunch and exploring. After lunch at a pub we headed toward the Iona Abbey, peacefully strolling along small rock roads on what was an unseasonably dry and warm day for late October in Scotland. We arrived at the Abbey and decided against paying yet another entrance fee and continued to stroll down the road before arriving at a shore line on the north side of the island. That is where these photos where taken, from a sheep pasture along the coast. Iona was such a beautiful and peaceful corner of the world and looking at this panorama really takes us back. . . .
